Haystack singles ski trips 2027
After the last one sold out in 3 weeks, we are hosting 2 ski trips in 2027.
This is a trip designed for solo travellers, by solo travellers. These are not dating holidays. They are a relaxed ski trip for people who want to throw their laptops away for a weekend and have fun meeting new people, skiing, eating cheese in the snow and having a boogie at apres.
Oh… and everyones single.

Ski & Après-ski
After breakfast, we’ll introduce ski groups based on ability, so everyone can enjoy the mountain at a comfortable pace. Head out with your group to explore the Portes du Soleil ski area and towns & join for an optional apres-ski with the group

We’ll share a selection of meeting points and optional activities across the ski area, giving you plenty of chances to connect with everyone on the trip.

we have two different housing options available…
The Apres Lodge
Clean, no frills, shared mountain rooms with shared bathrooms. You’ll be sharing with guests of the same gender and maximum dorm size of 12 guests (average dorm size of 6 guests). We’ll use our matching technology to group people with similar evening and morning preferences! This is the only room style available at the Apres Lodge and is included in our £820 base package.
The Alpine Lodge
A 3* Alpine chalet hotel offering shared rooms in smaller groups, each with their own private bathrooms. On site bar, beautiful views and the option to upgrade to a private room. Ski in, ski out and space to store skis on site. this is where we will host our welcome drinks reception, farewell dinner and daily mountainside breakfasts for all guests, including those sleeping at The Apres Lodge.

The Apres Lodge – Shared Room
This includes a single bed in a dorm, 3 day PDS lift pass worth 200 euros, freeflow welcome drinks and canapes, daily breakfast at the Alpine Lodge, 3 course farewell dinner with 1/2 bottle of wine, and team Haystack organising everything from group ski meeting points to daily socials.

The Alpine Lodge – Small Group Room
A room sharing with 3 or 4 other same gender guests in the Alpine Lodge. Each room has it’s own private bathroom, it’s beautifully furnished and each guest will get their own single bed.
This includes a single bed in a 4 or 5 person room, 3 day PDS lift pass worth 200 euros, freeflow welcome drinks and canapes, daily breakfast at the Alpine Lodge, 3 course farewell dinner with 1/2 bottle of wine, and team Haystack organising everything from group ski meeting points to daily socials.
Cost = £1,100
The Alpine Lodge – Shared twin / triple room
Opt to share with a maximum of two other same gender guests in the Alpine Lodge. Some rooms will be shared with one person, some shared with two. We will allocate these based on the gender split of the group.
This includes a single bed in a twin or triple room, 3 day PDS lift pass worth 200 euros, freeflow welcome drinks and canapes, daily breakfast at the Alpine Lodge, 3 course farewell dinner with 1/2 bottle of wine, and team Haystack organising everything from group ski meeting points to daily socials.

The Alpine Lodge – Private Room
A fully private room, with private bathroom in the Alpine Lodge.
This includes a private room with a private bathroom in the Alpine Lodge, 3 day PDS lift pass worth 200 euros, freeflow welcome drinks and canapes, daily breakfast at the Alpine Lodge, 3 course farewell dinner with 1/2 bottle of wine, and team Haystack organising everything from group ski meeting points to daily socials.

Who comes on these trips?
Our guests are single people, typically in their 20s, 30s and 40s.
Around 94% come on their own, so you’ll be in great company if you’re travelling solo.
What's the atmosphere like?
Relaxed, friendly and sociable.
This isn’t an intense dating holiday.
It’s simply a group of interesting people who happen to be single, enjoying skiing and meeting new people.
No swiping.
No awkward matchmaking.
No pressure.
do I need to have skiing experience?
Not at all.
Last time we had a group take ski lessons every day, where the instructors will tailor lessons to your ability.
There are also a variety of slopes in the portes du soleil area catering to different abilities.
How do I get there?
Fly into Geneva Airport
From there, the resort is around 1 hour 30 minutes away.
As you know, transfers are not included in your package but to hopefully make things easier for everyone, we are going to run Haystack coaches from Geneva airport directly to the accommodation. These will leave Geneva airport at 1.30pm on the Thursday (day 1 of the trip). We’re working with a coach company to make these as affordable as is humanly possible (estimated £40 each way) and we’ll send you a link nearer the time if you want to get booked on. We recommend jumping on flights that arrive in very good time (taking into account times for luggage, potentially hectic security lines etc!) as due to the number of you joining us, the drivers won’t be able to wait and will be setting off at 1.30pm sharp! Checkout from all houses is 10am on the Monday (day 5 of the trip) and we’ll be running a return transfer back to Geneva airport from both accomodations at 10.30am.
what's the gender balance?
We don’t actively manage gender ratios, but our groups naturally tend to be well balanced.
What if I'm not single by the time of the trip?
This trip is not an intense dating holiday. It is designed for solo travellers who want to meet interesting people, and if you’re relationship status changes we will all communicate like adults and have a lovely time anyway.
